Aurora After Hours: Wildcraft Basket Weaving

Join a hands-on Wildcraft Ivy Basket Weaving class at the Aurora Colony Museum and discover a craft that has connected generations through creativity and nature.

The class will be held in the museum courtyard, offering a welcoming outdoor setting for participants of all ages and experience levels. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase as you weave your own unique basket and enjoy a relaxing day of creativity and community. Ivy or plant material for baskets provided.

Don’t miss our Colony Craft Exhibit to see examples of traditional handmade baskets and other crafts that helped shape the community’s heritage. Museum Exhibit Hours are Monday- Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12-5pm. Admission: $8 Adults, $6 Youth 6-17 & Seniors 65+, Free 5 and Under
