Attention all spinning enthusiasts and history buffs! The Aurora Colony Handspinners' Guild is excited to invite you to our Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase, happening at the Old Aurora Colony Museum.

Come and witness the beauty and craftsmanship of antique spinning wheels, as well as learn about their history and significance. But that's not all - we will also be hosting a Fleece to Shawl demonstration, as well as a Waulking demonstration, so you can see the entire process of turning raw wool into a finished product.

In addition, we will have adorable alpacas on site for you to meet and learn about, as well as a Raffle Wheel & Yarn Winder where you can enter to win some amazing prizes. And for those who want to get hands-on, we will have various activities and workshops for you to participate in and learn new spinning techniques.
