Tour the Museum
Guided Tours are available Tuesday through Sunday and need to be reserved in advance. Our tour guides bring the old Aurora alive with stories of the colony days. Get answers to the questions that you won’t get from a self-guided tour. Tours are approximately one hour long. Please contact us to request a tour.
Self-Guided tours include viewing the museum current exhibit as well as permanent artifacts. Step back in time as you explore the five building museum complex, including; the Ox Barn, Steinbach Cabin, Tie Shed, Will Family Summer Kitchen and Kraus House. To learn more about the stories and traditions of the colony, consider scheduling a Guided Tour during regular museum hours.
School field trips are available Tuesday through Friday and can be interactive, with some hands-on activities designed for the age level of the students. Please contact us to schedule a tour for your class.
